Ahimsa started since 1986 as a small corner restaurant until it grew to become a manufacturing business. The word “Ahimsa” means to show compassion all living beings. As the name states we focus on not harming any beings in the production of our food, making sure it is fully vegetarian while providing healthier choices for our consumers.   

We support our local vegetarian industry by inventing and manufacturing delicious meat-free dishes inspired by top chefs and recipes. Originating from Malaysia, our food products are inspired by local cuisines that range from Nyonya, Chinese, Indian and Malay cooking styles. 

Anyone who has been to our restaurants Nanking Court and Cameleon since the early 1980s would know how tasty our meals can be. Our ingredients are responsibly sourced and designed with love and care to bring you the best from our kitchen to your table. Our quality is unlike any other. 

Over the years we have expanded our market from traveling and discovering new recipes from different countries in the Asia Pacific, even up to Western countries burger and snacks. Our supply chain even reaches up to further countries like New Zealand and Australia. 

Our food is suitable for anyone as we are halal, 100% vegetarian friendly, HACCP certified and made in Malaysia. 

Our products include sauces, frozen food, chef designed ready meals, seasonings and snacks.
